The Ahlbin Rehabilitation Centers Auxiliary will present “The Enchanted Castle: A Magical Storybook Experience,” the last week of October at the Burr Homestead, Fairfield, CT. With its colorful storybook-theme rooms and friendly costumed characters, the Enchanted Castle provides a non-threatening, entertaining Halloween experience for children and adults. This year’s theme rooms include Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Wizard of Oz.

Mission Statement

Now in its 72th year of service to the community, the Ahlbin Rehabilitation Center is a not-for-profit organization, that provides quality, comprehensive and cost effective rehabilitation services for over 10,000 adults and children each year with physical, cognitive, psychosocial and communication disorders. In the past few years, funds raised by our Auxiliary, have enabled the Ahlbin Centers to open a Pediatric Center in Southport , renovate a Pediatric center in Bridgeport, open a Geriatric Center in Trumbull and open a Women’s Health Program at our Stratford Site. The Ahlbin Auxiliary continues to fund special programs such as a the Childhood Obesity Program, Music and Art Therapy for Adolescents, as well specialized equipment such a the WalkAide System , and The Bioness System which help aide patients of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases.
