About Aging in Place+Gallivant

Aging in Place+Gallivant is a non-profit organization founded by and for the people of Darien who want to preserve and enhance the community's vibrant, multi-generational community. We provide free services and education - transportation, referral to vetted service providers, communications on events and services, and much more! We need volunteers to assist seniors as visitors, grocery shoppers, small chore helpers, drivers, and seasonally as leaf rakers and snow shovelers.

Mission Statement

Helping Darien seniors live independently, comfortably and with dignity in their own homes and the community as long as possible.
